Gods Born Of A Cosmic Egg

Throughout the worlds most ancient mythologies there is a recurring theme of Gods Born From A Comic Egg. The Ancient Egyptians have a tradition where the god Ptah (one of the oldest gods of Egyptian Mythology) is born from a cosmic egg. Over thousands of years, a number of other gods like Amun, Ra, and Amun-Ra took the place of Ptah.

The Sumerians also record the birth of the universe from a giant egg.
