Great Year Weeks 1-12
Character Created. Profile Updated.
The Great Year has initialized, and the quest for the Scholar’s Legacy is officially live.
You are currently on Day 2: The Cave of Origins. Since you are dual-classing today to catch up, I have synthesized your quest log for Weeks 1–12 below.
Each day is structured as a Mission Briefing with specific Challenges to earn your XP.
The Great Year — Phase 1: Weeks 1-12 — Foundations
Week 1: The First Spark
Theme: Establishing the laws of the universe and the syntax of the world.
Day 1: The Axioms of Existence
* Challenges:
* Math: Define and memorize the Field, Order, and Completeness Axioms.
* Calculus: Map the Domain and Range of three basic linear functions.
* Physics: Memorize the 7 SI Base Units; perform Dimensional Analysis on F=ma.
* WebDev: Structure a index.html using only Semantic tags (<header>, <main>, etc.).
* Hist/Myth: Read the “Cognitive Revolution” summary; identify the birth of fiction.
* Python: Initialize Scholar.py and print your “Level 1” stats using f-strings.
Day 2: The Cave of Evidence
Challenges:
- * Math: Execute 10 Polynomial additions and subtractions without error.
- * Calculus: Pass the Vertical Line Test on 5 different coordinate graphs.
- * Physics: Convert 5 imperial measurements to SI using the Chain-Link method.
- * WebDev: Draw a DOM Tree for a simple 3-level HTML document.
- * Hist/Myth: Analyze the Lascaux Cave paintings as the first “User Interface” of myth.
- * Python: Script a calculator that converts “Inputs” into different “Data Types.”

Day 3: The Temple of Limits
To proceed to Day 3, you must clear the following:
Challenges
* [Math] The Polynomial Forge: Solve (4x^3 – 2x + 8) – (2x^3 + x^2 – 5). Read Polynomials.
* [Calculus] The Oracle’s Test: Sketch f(x) = x^2 and x = y^2; identify which is a “Legal Function” via the Vertical Line Test.
* [Physics] The Standard Bearer: A spear is 1.85 meters long. Convert this to Nanometers using scientific notation.
* [WebDev] The World Tree: Create a visual diagram of the DOM for a page containing a nav with 3 li items.
* [Hist/Myth] The Vision Quest: Write one paragraph on how Ice Age Cave Art represents the first human attempt to “code” reality.
* [Python] The Type-Caster: Write a script that takes a user input (String), converts it to an Integer, adds 10, and prints it back as a Float.
Next Step: Once these challenges are logged, you will level up to Week 1, Day 3. Would you like me to reveal the Day 3 Quest Briefing (Factoring, Limits, and Göbekli Tepe)?
* Day 4: The Agricultural Patch
* Day 5: The City of Eridu*
Day 6: The Vector Plane
* Day 7: [BOSS BATTLE] Weekly Synthesis Project
Week 2: The River Valley Expansion
Theme: Scaling from individual points to complex systems.
* Day 8-14 Challenges:
* Math: Absolute Value Logic and Rational Expressions.
* Calculus: The “Limit” Boss—Approaching infinity and the Squeeze Theorem.
* Physics: 1D Kinematics; solving for \Delta x using the “Big Four” equations.
* WebDev: CSS Flexbox—Aligning the elements of your digital empire.
* Hist/Myth: The Ubaid Period and the first irrigation myths.
* Python: Mastering if/else logic gates.
Day 8
Week 3: The Cuneiform Interface
Theme: The invention of data storage and projectile mathematics.
* Day 15-21 Challenges:
* Math: Factoring Trinomials (x^2 + bx + c).
* Calculus: The First Derivative—Calculating the Slope of the Tangent Line.
* Physics: 2D Motion; launching projectiles into the coordinate plane.
* WebDev: The CSS Box Model—Understanding padding, borders, and margins.

Week 4: The Hero’s Script
Theme: Logic flow and the epic of the self.
* Day 22-28 Challenges:
* Math: Rational Exponents and Radicals.
* Calculus: Derivative Power Rule—The “Quick-Kill” method for polynomials.
* Physics: Newton’s Laws—The physics of Force (F=ma).
* WebDev: Responsive Design—Using Media Queries for mobile-tier viewing.
