First Steps Into A New Universe
This work, which I am preliminarily calling something along the lines of “First Steps Into A New Universe” will embody in a non-technical fashion an exploration and study of nature, reality, and the cosmos as seen through the eyes of modern physics, chemistry, and biology. This will probably be achieved through three volumes, or maybe one really long one. This work is young, and I will know more once I have edited and published material I already have, so that I can begin to refine it and organize it more clearly from there.
This will essentially be an introduction to all fundamental knowledge which will found not only a more accurate understanding of the world organically, but also possibly a new way of looking at the world. So please be patient as I am building the foundation of this site in spiritual writing first, not least because I have some more planning to do before I really comprehend with clarity what this section of PGA will look like.
My goal with this section is to introduce everyday people to the wonders of science and the Universe, requiring no specialized or mathematical knowledge. For the language of mathematics really is not essential for a deep understanding of nature, the universe, or even of science necessarily.
This is true especially when we consider how many different kinds of people, and that we are each unique in some way or another from all other people in existence. Does a physicists understand reality better than a field biologist, or artists, or mountain climber? Do they even understand nature better? Let alone the important considerations of life, learning, spirit, and personal growth? I seriously doubt that there understanding is superior.
Certainly it is superior in some ways, and an understanding of the language of mathematics in its description of reality only enhances our appreciation, and the depth of our understanding in certain ways. Does the understanding of mathematical proportion increase our appreciation for the nude female form, or the male?
I believe that we each in our own ways can achieve the same depth of understanding of each of these subjects of science, yet arrived at through different paths, mathematics or not. After all, the man who made some of the greatest advances in the field of electricity and magnetism which laid the foundation for our modern technology had no appreciable mathematical skill. With that being said, I believe that this information of science – physics, astronomy, chemistry, and biology is essential for all people. Because, on the one hand, I believe it to be universally fascinating to some degree, if it is explained in right way, organically and simply, which is when it is best appreciated in some ways. Yet on the other hand, because an accurate knowledge of these things increases our quality of life, our understanding of life and the forces of Nature and Consciousness which conspired to our creation. I abhor inaccuracy, and only knowledge is the cure for ignorance.
In short, I want to give you a considerable degree of depth in understanding nature, the cosmos, and reality, found through the extent of our knowledge of physics, chemistry, and biology. Which, while it may not be technical, will not be lacking in substance and in meaning. Which is what is important in the first place.
Yet know that I will do so with the ulterior (or secondary) motive of exciting individuals about certain subjects they are naturally inclined towards in the hopes that they are inspired to pursue a technical understanding of the field which interests them. Thus the purpose of my textbooks and technical writing in the ‘Textbook and Technical’ section on the Science Table of Contents page, which will enable you to do just that, simply and organically, but to the absolute height of comprehension. At least that is my intention.
