Don’t Stand Still — Keep Moving Forwards. In life there is a unique place for an underlying drive to see more, a healthy lust for experience, and to do and try a variety of what life has to offer.

Yes, on the one hand we need to learn how to Be Still and Sit Until The World Becomes still. It is important to learn how to Relax and Find Peace In The Moment (and don’t let the “new age” facade of the terms turn you off). However, a drive for motion — progress, ambition, development, change, evolution — is equally intrinsic to the nature of a human being.

Even in our careers, our chosen fields, there is room to grow and progress. For some, a Career Change is what they truly need, and In Five Years they can make an enormous transition. Yet for those who are happy where they are, it is important that they do not get complacent, and take steps to Continually Progress In Their Field.

Some people are born wanderers.

There are philosophically divided schools of thoughts on what is preferrable Learning To Be Still, and Relax Into The Moment compared with the Being Driven, Constant Push Forwards, Keeping Busy.
