Learning Is A Journey We Must Make On Our Own

Learning is a journey that we each must take on our own. It is deeply personal, because it has to do with our deepest interests and ambitions, and the most fundamental aspects of who we are and how we see the world, because how — and what — we choose to learn (and what we decide to do with it) speaks to our fundamental character.

While we will have fellow students — friends, co-workers, and partners — at various stages of our journey, our Journey of Learning persists both before and after their time in our story. Very few have co-stars from the beginning to end of their story in this lifetime.

For these reasons, we need to take this journey seriously, and prepare ourselves deeply for the journey that we intend to go on. We do not know where it will take us. But we have to ensure our commitment to the path, to follow where it leads, because that journey is, in essence, the Journey Of Our Evolution.
