Lost Story of Humanity Introduction
There are mysteries deep in humanities past. The further that we go backwards, the less we know in great detail — the more we must speculate, but maybe never truly know.
However, truly momentous events took place in the period between the End of the Last Ice Age (ELIA) c.10 ka and the Dawn of History (c.3000 BCE). There is, in a very real sense, a missing piece in our collective history. A missing piece that may hold powerful pieces in our story.
The investigation of this phase of human civilization is, in general, the Lost Story of Humanity.
The Pillars of the Lost Story
An Advanced Ice Age Civilization
A part of the Lost Story of Humanity is an investigation into the potential existence of an advanced civilization at the End of the Last Ice Age. A civilization that was advanced for its time (at least) that reached a pinnacle with resounding implication for the flow of World History.
The precise degree of advancement of this proposed culture is, in my opinion, a matter of debate. The evidence that we do have indicates a more sophisticated level of culture than previously conceived in various regions, and at earlier dates in prehistory.
The Central Veins
.The central veins of evidence that suggest the existence of a Lost Civilization in Prehistory (specifically in the millennia at the End of the Last Ice Age, through the Neolithic, into the Dawn of History In Sumer…
The Influence of the Conditions During The Last Ice Age – And It’s End – On The Intervening Millennia Before The Dawn Of History
This has not thoroughly been explained or explored, in my opinion. If the an Ice Age Civilization survived a cataclysmic end, what exactly can we expect of them?
Notes
- There are literal gaps in our knowledge and understanding of the past, which become increasingly pronounced the further back we go from 3000 BCE.
- The evidence around the world is constantly change. The perception of early humans in general is constantly changing. But there are major shifts in our understanding of recent prehistory.
