The Mysteries of the Shatapatha Brahmana

The Shatapatha Brahmana is one of the Vedas — the ancient scriptures of India that define Vedic Religion and eventually developed into Hinduism. It is considered to be relatively old (among the Vedas, the Rig Veda generally being considered the oldest).

Yet there are certain pieces within the Shatapatha Brahmana that are truly extraordinary, difficult to comprehend, which call into question fundamental tenets of our understanding of the Indo-Europeans, History of the Vedas, and Indian History as well.

The Shatapatha Brahamana is itself a mathematical text to some degree, holding relatively advanced knowledge. However there are certain mentions of the positions of stars that are dateable, and give truly ancient dates. These dates are hard to understand, because they tell of a time for which we have no record.
