Brahmins and Druids

Even though it is the Sumerian, Akkadian, Vedic, Egyptian, and Babylonian peoples that retained the tradition of the Seven Sages, their is a lasting connection between the Brahmins of India and the Druids of the Celtic World.

Both committed large corpus of knowledge and information to memory, and for both it was forbidden to write down these traditions — if not downright sacriligious — or to reveal them to the unworthy. There is a noted Indo-European Connection between the Celtic and Vedic peoples.

This linguistic connection can also be seen in words like Aryan and Erinn — both of which mean something akin to “royal” and “noble”.
