Take It Slow
Take It Slow. In whatever you do, take it slowly.
At first, and not always — of course. There are times when action needs to be taken fast, or else there will be permanent consequences.
However, even then, it is necessary to Take It Slow, because this fundamental principle is about awareness and thought, not about time.
Take It Slow means to take action in an intentional, thoughtful, organized, methodical, and powerful way. It is not a matter of moving slowly, exactly, but moving with deliberation. Like an avalanche which, once it decides to fall, it will make an impact no matter what anybody else says on the matter.
Whether your actions are fast, measured, or glacial in the moment is irrelevant. In life you have to make both fast and slow decisions — but that doesn’t mean that both fast and slow decisions and thinking need to be instinctual, precise, and powerful as one another.
