Trust The Universe

Sometimes the universe takes you on an unexpected journey. You set your intention, worked diligently towards your goals, made progress every day with discipline — enormous progress over months and years — yet the unfolding of your vision was not what you expected it would be.

Trust the universe.

The fact is that we do not know what the consequences of our actions will be, because our foresight is limited. The journey is what it is, and if it is unforseen, different than you had imagined before, good. That is how it should be.

When we are becoming something new, we cannot expect to know what that will look like. We cannot expect a dream of something we never had, to unfold in a way we would have predicted.

We are not the same people as then. We do not have the same energy, vibrate at the same frequency, live at the same level of consciousness, nor quite literally, live in the same world that we did. All that we can do is trust the universe.

Allow The Path To Be What It Is

If there is any certainty, it should be in our goals, desires, and actions. We know what we are working towards, we know what we are trying to achieve, and we know, in general outline, what we desire to become.

More to the point, we have crafted our habits to align with that higher intention. All that we can do is remained discipline, and adapt to the path at our feet.

One thing that I have learned is that the path towards an objective is filled with obstacles. We should adjust our habits, practices, and mentality whenever we need to. But in the end, we have to adapt.

Adapt to what life gives us. Adapt to the places that our actions lead. It does no good to cry in frustration at obstacles and changes. The only path forwards is to address the problem, adjust what needs to be adjusted, and donour best to continue moving forwards without breaking stride.

Trust The Plan

Trust the intention that you set at the beginning, and if it is genuinely right to do so, trust your discipline, commitment, and dedication that you have given to the path. That if nothing else, your actions, the strides and progress you have made, have resulted in growth and development in the direction that you chose to travel.

Trust the plan that you cannot see. In my life, I have seen incredible alignments beyond what I can attribute to chance and coincidence. Alignments, and an internal knowing, that has remained constant at my side.

Life has a tendency to resolve itself in unexpected ways. Yet, often in ways that lead us to the place that we wanted to go, but didn’t realize at the time. A fulfillment in spite of ourselves, almost.

Trust the universe. That it will resolve itself according to who you are as a person, and that irrespective of what anyone else thinks, it will align with what you are.

Whether you know what that is at every stage of the journey, or not.
