Projects and Long-Term Progress

A focus on well-defined, specific Projects is the most efficient way to create long-term progress. While a Goal is a high-level mental and emotional structure, that takes an abstract vision, desire, and objective and transforms it into actionable steps and ultimately tasks, which I refer to as Projects.

A goal has to have a Plan, while its action is specific Projects and Tasks that are steps within that plan that lead to our goal. Moreover, there is an art to completing projects that comes from experience.

I have attempted to extract the essentials of the process from anything — an objective analysis of the process of achieving, completing, anything.

A Focus For The Mind

Projects work as an excellent focus for the mind. The desire is for our actions to be as precise, efficient, and powerful as possible, with no wasted movement. So we break down the larger goal into a series of Projects or Objectives that will progress us along our path.

We should not to attempt to comprehend all that we have to do (especially when some stages are months or years away, and entirely depend on your success / failure here an now). Instead, apply ourselves to what we can focus on, and what we can reasonably do. Specific projects that make sense along the way.
